He is working to cut taxes even more, slash regulation, and bring jobs back to our shores. He is a strong advocate for making sure America is not dependent on importing any critical materials or products from China, Russia or other unfriendly nations.
Robert believes we need common sense energy solutions - not socialist Green New Deal policies.
Robert believes we need to expand America’s energy exploration and open the Keystone Pipeline to produce more oil and gas and reduce energy prices.
He also believes we need to support small businesses across the 4th District. He supports expanding broadband to rural areas so small businesses can compete more effectively.
He has worked to encourage companies to relocate to North Alabama to provide good jobs with good wages.

Robert is protecting your Second Amendment rights.
Robert believes in our Constitutional right to bear arms. He wants you to be able to protect your life, your family and your property. While the far-Left is threatening to confiscate firearms, expand gun control legislation and limit our rights, he won't give in. The Second Amendment protects the American people from government overreach and tyranny -- that must not be diminished.
Throughout his time in Congress, Robert has opposed several attempts to limit our rights -- including by President Obama when he used an executive order to force down gun control measures. On the other hand, Robert has received high grades and endorsements from America's leading gun rights groups. He believes responsible gun ownership is paramount to preserving our freedom.

Robert stands with our brave men and women in law enforcement.
Robert proudly supports the courageous police officers serving across America. While the far-Left degrades their hard work and threatens to defund them, Robert is committed to defending them.
Robert believes defunding police departments is counterproductive and makes our streets more dangerous. Instead, he believes there are effective, commonsense solutions to make policing safer and better for everyone. These include building on current training and hiring programs, improving de-escalation protocols, and reforming data collection processes.
The bottom line is this: high-crime areas need more law enforcement presence, not less; defunded police departments would make our streets more dangerous, not less; and the brave men and women who keep us safe deserve more respect, not less.
Robert is fighting to hold Russia and China accountable and bring jobs back to America.
Robert is fighting to hold Russia and China accountable. Russia for its invasion of its peaceful neighbor, Ukraine. China for its support of Russia and its threats to our allies and friendly nations in Asia.
Robert condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and supported an additional $10 billion in arms and material to support Ukraine’s resistance. He also cosponsored and voted to stop all US purchases of Russian oil and gas. He supports increased sanctions on Russian and it’s government officials and prominent individuals connected to Putin’s leadership. He believes in strengthening NATO by requiring all NATO members to increase their defense budgets to a minimum of 2% of their GDP. Robert stands with Eastern European allies like Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia and supports increased US forces in those nations to deter Russian aggression.
Robert believes America needs to rely less on China for any essential military, medical or security needs. He also has called for increased enforcement against China’s theft of our intellectual property. He also believes America needs to expand our manufacturing base in order to reduce imports from China. He has also condemned China’s human rights violations against Christians and other religious minorities.
Robert is Northern Alabama’s top advocate for rural broadband expansion.
Robert is working to make Alabama’s 4th Congressional Districts the number one rural broadband district in America. Robert created the ReConnect programs that procured hundred of millions of dollars for funding for rural broadband. He ensured the Trump Administration included broadband funding in COVID relief packages (and that continued in the Biden relief packages)
Robert is working with local broadband providers as well as national companies to make rural broadband a priority, and tens of thousands of homes have been wired with high-speed internet in the 4th District in the last few years.
Robert is one of the leading Pro-Life Members of Congress.
Robert has spent over a decade protecting the most vulnerable among us, and he has led efforts to defend life and elevate abortion alternatives. Robert believes that every life is a gift from God and should be celebrated, which is why he has participated in the March for Life, supported a ban on federal health coverage that includes abortion procedures, and fought against using taxpayer dollars to fund abortions both at home and abroad. He has also used his important committee assignments to push for FDA protections for embryos and Pro-Life regulatory efforts. He will not rest until our country is free of abortion practices.
